Style B or C in the 23.6-27.6" range covers a standard 6-seat table without crowding sightlines, since the open lattice keeps the shade visually light despite its width. Tables longer than 6 ft look better with two fixtures spaced 24"-30" apart rather than one oversized shade.
Best styles: B 23.6" x 17.7" · C 23.6" x 14.8" · C 27.6" x 17.7"
Bulb: 800-1200 lm, 2700-3000K, dimmable for dinners
Style C's largest size, 31.5" x 19.7", reads as a true centerpiece under 8-9 ft ceilings and holds its own above a coffee table without a sofa lamp competing. In lower rooms, drop to Style B at 23.6" so the shade clears eye level.
Best styles: C 31.5" x 19.7" · B 27.6" x 17.7"
Bulb: 800-1200 lm, 2700-3000K, dimmable for ambient evenings
Style A's tall narrow silhouette, 9.8" x 19.7" or 13.8" x 27.6", hangs beside the bed in place of a table lamp without eating nightstand space. Keep the shade base 20-26" above the nightstand; oversize it only if the ceiling clears 9 ft.
Best styles: A 9.8" x 19.7" · A 13.8" x 27.6"
Bulb: 800-1200 lm, 2700-3000K, dimmable for late reading

Every product goes through the same six-step process in our Vietnam workshop — from selecting the cane to testing the wiring. See the full process →
Step 1
Selecting Bamboo and Rattan Materials are carefully chosen based on age, flexibility, and shape. Ideal bamboo is 5–10 years old, with straight, smooth stems and minimal knots, sourced from Vietnamese mountain regions (avoiding the top and bottom growth areas where light exposure affects quality).
Step 2
Splitting and Making Bamboo/Rattan Strips Rattan's outer bark is stripped to reveal its workable core, which is split into uniform strands. Bamboo is similarly split into strips sized according to the final product's requirements, ensuring consistency.
Step 3
Anti-Corrosion and Anti-Mold Treatment Two key methods protect against decay and insects: smoking (improves termite resistance and flexibility) and boiling (removes impurities, kills bacteria, and enhances elasticity). Materials are then sun-dried to boost strength and durability.
Step 4
Making the Pendant Frame and Assembly This involves four steps — selecting a shape (round, drum, cluster, conical, etc.), precise measurement for stable joints, cutting and assembling components, and quality control testing to confirm the frame can bear the lamp's weight and external stress.
Step 5
Weaving of Bamboo/Rattan Pendant Shade Artisans use techniques like woven mesh, embroidery, and twisted weave to create intricate patterns. Weaving starts from key frame points, with continuous checks for uniformity, finishing with detailed borders and accents.
Step 6
Final Quality Assurance and Testing Final steps include controlled natural drying plus anti-termite/anti-mold treatment, surface coloring (natural golden hue, eco-friendly stains, or black lacquer for rattan pieces), professional electrical installation and testing, and a comprehensive final quality inspection before shipping.
Use a soft-bristled brush or microfiber cloth for weekly dusting
Gently brush along the diamond weave pattern to remove accumulated dust
Avoid using water or liquid cleaners on the natural rattan material
Work in circular motions following the weave direction
Every few months, take the shade down and dust from the inside of the lattice
A barely damp cloth is only for the metal canopy and cord — never soak the weave
Let the fixture dry fully before restoring power
Check the cord and canopy screws once a year for looseness or wear
Replace the bulb with the fixture switched off at the wall
If the socket or cord is damaged, stop using the light and contact us
Keep out of direct, prolonged sun to limit color shift in the cane
Avoid steam, bathrooms, and range hoods — rattan expands with moisture
Natural tonal variation and small knots are expected, not defects
