Getting the cord adjusted over the dining table took way longer than it should have. the plastic collar kept slipping every time i tried to tighten it down.

I eventually got it to stay put using some electrical tape hidden inside the canopy. the bell shape actually looks great in our wabi sabi setup though. it casts a nice downward light that doesn't blind you while eating.
