7. Does rattan attract insects or mildew indoors?

When kept reasonably dry, rattan resists both fairly well over the years. The exception is prolonged exposure to humid, poorly ventilated spaces, where mildew can eventually take hold.

8. I've heard natural rattan darkens, is that true here too?

It is. Expect the light tan tone to deepen gradually into a richer amber as the shade spends time under everyday ambient light. This shift is a normal part of the material aging.

9. The basket arrived with a bent strip, who do I contact?

Reach out to customer support with a photo of the affected area shortly after delivery. Depending on the extent, they will usually offer a repair kit or send a replacement shade.

10. Can I get a shorter cord for a low bedside hang?

Yes, a different cord length than the standard range can generally be arranged if you contact support before the order goes into production.
