the shape is uneven which works for our dining room. wiring was a massive headache though because the provided ceiling canopy was too small to cover the existing hole. my husband had to buy a separate metal plate at the hardware store to hide it. after an extra trip it finally works. looks fine with our boho furniture so the trouble was worth it.
