3-Light Selma Rattan Pendant Light

Bought the Selma light for the seating area in our living room. It is light enough that one person can hold and wire it without fatigue. The weave allows just enough light to filter upwards while directing most of it down. Shipping was fast and the product was well protected in transit.

The Selma hat-style pendant has a broad brim that covers our dining table nicely. The natural rattan has no sharp splinters or loose edges. The ceiling canopy fit flush against our drywall without any gap. It gives off generous light during meals. Would definitely recommend this model.

Hanging this was annoying because our ceiling is so high but that isn't the actual light's fault. The 23 inch Selma looks genuinely great in the main living room now. It matches my colorful boho rugs and tan couch perfectly. I really like how wide the hat shape is compared to a regular standard light fixture. They block some of the harsh glare from the light bulbs which is really nice while cooking dinners. Wiring was basic standard stuff that anyone can easily figure out. The 31 inch Selma is huge in person. It puts off really good light over the dining table though. It fits the whole organic modern thing I am doing with my house right now.

Picked up the Selma hat light in 23.6 inches for our Japandi style dining space. The flat hat design lets light spread wide across the table. Got the largest size Selma hat pendant to put over our master bed. It fills the high ceiling space really well without feeling heavy or bulky. The installation instructions were simple and easy to follow. Looks exactly like the photos online.

The cardboard box arrived on my porch with a massive dent in the bottom corner. Luckily the actual rattan material inside wasn't broken or crushed. We hung it directly over the glass dining table. The black cord was about ten inches too long so we had to manually cut and strip the wires again. It looks entirely appropriate for our casual boho apartment setup. Overall it is a very decent purchase once we got past the annoying installation.

Ordered the largest size for the living room. The wave shape is definitely asymmetrical, but maybe a bit too uneven on the left side.

The metal ceiling canopy was missing two screws so i had to drive to the hardware store. It fits our organic modern furniture alright.

Not terrible but the missing parts were a headache.
